The input speed sensor is just under$30.00 at the dealer and it should take you less time to replace it then to find it. The sensor is on the transmission under the battery tray closes to the engine. There are two sensors and the other one is the vehicle velocity sensor which is the one furthest from the engine block. Your going to need a 1' socket to remove the sensor and extension and a swivel. Find the solenoid pack connector on the transmission which is under the battery tray and right above that should be the input sensor. Un-clip the wire lead to the sensor and remove the sensor, install new sensor and re-clip the wire lead and re-install anything you need to remove to get to the sensor. Good luck and keep me posted, it may be easier to go from the bottom of the cruiser.

I have an electrical draw somewhere in the car...I have heard that it could possibly be the fuel shut off relay not shutting down...any answers or has anyone else had similar issues? Also...the pt has tried to overheat a couple of times, she's at 98,482 miles and we've replace the thermostat and added fluids and solutions?
