Need to change a transmisshen filter in a 96 chavy

Take all of the bolts out of the tranny pan except two on one side. Loosen those two and slowly lower the pan so the fluid doesn't go everywhere.You need something under it to catch the fluid. after you have the pan off the filter will either just pull down or you may have two screws holding it. the new filter will go in the same way. Don't use the old fluid. You will need about 5 quarts of the recommended fluid
