dear friend-the sensor you are talking about is a airbag sensor,please do not tamper with this sensor if the battery is not disconnected,if that sensor is faulty the airbag light will be on.it is suggested that you plug into a high-scan before you attemp any repairs,u need the proper fault codes before doing anything.
