Had clutch on 2002 saturn replaced earlier this

had clutch on 2002 saturn replaced earlier this year. Was driving down hwy. when car refused to go any further. the engine was running fine, but screeching sound coming from tranny. What happened? Used car earlier in day and all was fine. Do I need to replace the manual transmission at this point?

It sounds like the transmission ran it self low on transmission fluid and the bearings may have seized. Sorry for the bad new's friend and hope I'm wrong, but what you described sounds like a seized transmission. Keep me posted, be glad to help you get your car running again soon.
