Problem for Saturn 1999 SL

Have saturn sli 1999- hard starting- replaced temp

have saturn sli 1999- hard starting- replaced temp sensor and put in two fuel pumps- still cranks 5 t0 8 times before starting. dealer says could only be fuel pump, but that has been changed (bosch) oem equvalent

A bad check valve in the fuel pump assembly will do that, but shouldn't if you replaced the whole assembly. If you replaced only the pump itself, they may be right. The other possibility is that the fuel pressure regulator is bleeding off the pressure.
