I have a 2000 Chevy Blazer, that I think has ran low on gas.

look for an air valve on top of the motor. this will be the fuel rail and the valve looks the same as your tire valves. put a rag by this valve go turn your key on then go press the valve like your letting air out of your tire but go easy it can build up alot of pressure. now if you r getting fuel your pump should be ok. if you have fuel try and start I have seen it get a air lock in the fuel line when running it empty and remeber you may have just sprayed gas all over the motor if the rag didnt catch it but gas will evaporate in short time unless it,s real cold outside. good luck hope that works for u

check to maker sure you hear the fuel pump working

If it ran out of gas you'll need to purge the air out of the fuel line. Chances are also good that you pulled some sediment off the tank bottom and clogged the filter. If that's the case you'll need to replace the filter.
