Hi, I just recently put new tires on my car, spin blance, alinement and my steering wheel and car is still vibrating, shaking sometimes at 55 mph smoothes out at 60 mph then starts again at about 65 to 70 mph. I have a 2001 BMW 540I with 104,000 miles on it. What could cause this problem? Could it have something to do with a flexdisk or wheel hub or both. I would really appreciate your help. 1.You could be right, check the flexdisk and the wheelhub, since you have already check wheel balance,
wheel alignment, and the steering wheel.
2. Have the following check as well;
a) steering linkage assembly for worn out joint parts.
b) propeller shaft (cross bearing, center bearing)
c) engine mount for defects.

Hi:
Since your BMW 540 series is a rear wheel drive car, a common cause of that sort of vibration is often the U joints on your drive shaft. The vibration often only shows up and certain speeds.
It isn't a particularly expensive repair, but is something to have checked out!
