Cam timming is possibly out due to gear reduction set up in heads
suggest remove rocker covers and make sure cam lobes are in this possition as well as all other timming marks luckily these engines (V6) are free wheeling (wont bend valves) set up like pic below

Where is the fuel cutoff switch on a 2000 isuzu trooper

which engine, ill toss coin, land on v6
check fuses first.
wont crank? that grrrrr grrrrr grrrrr sound
jumper cable start it yet, why not?
or put in a known good charged car battery?
or using any battery charger charge yours?
or buy a new battery, (if rich)

if it cranks and wont start?
check spark x6 (scan it yet?)
if sparks ok try test fuel!
if test fuel fails 100% see bad belt below.

EVER REPLACE THE CAM BELT?
if not and over 60k on the last one
the belt is doomed, living on borrowed time.

Where is the emergency fuel cut off switch located on 1999 Isuzu trooper

no engine stated..
i guess you like to search on rumors?
there is inertial switch. but no country stated nor engine nor drive line.

first check for spark not fuel
the ECU cuts Fuel anytime it sees spark fail (3 ways)
to stop TV like crash and burn,
check for spark if its good x4 or x6 , (depends on engine size)
and if that is good, check that engine runs for 3 seconds on test fuel, if thats good? then we check fueling system.
see?
we have posted this answer on ISUZU vast times.
and not one poster ever once, told what engine is there or they country.
or insert scan too
crank for 5 seconds, Got P03xx codes, that is the BINGO for no starts, right? ever scan a car? its a cheap tool all mech have.
and all savvy DIY have.

some cars have it, mostly not.
fords have
and is rumored some ISUZU, but not ours.
but ive not had all engine options, on a 1999.

so will look yours up, 1999 and pretend USA model. (not canada)
some isuzu do have this red electric switch
so lets see if the 99 usa has it.
that means if its missing in the pump page, its not there.
drum rollllllll
no switch. 1998 usa trooper.
end easter egg hunt 1200.

the pump runs off the fuel pump relay DIRECT
the relay IS ONLY controlled by the ECU,

96 Isuzu Trooper automatic 3.2 liter dual overhead cam with driving and it just died wont start

Is the timing belt okay? Fuel? Oil level? Did it make any noise when it died? Smoke?
Some good info on Troopers stalling here...
Could be EGR, wiring harness break or too much oil coming into the intake from the PCV. This model has trouble with these things.

No start but cranks, where should I check has fuel and compression, no spark?

Coil on plugs? not that. Crank sensor? could be, but check the wires also. They break close to the plug.

Isuzu Hombre pickup, 2.2L Vortec, Won't Start.

You need four things for an engine to run. 1. fuel 2. spark 3. compression 4. timing (spark at the right time. By your post it seems you have fuel and spark and you probably have compression unless you blew a head gasket. That leaves the timing. Check the timing and/or the timing belt or chain whichever you have.
