The left break light sensor comes on and off on the car indicator and will cause the three pack of lights to go out also this will happen with the right side of my 2003 bmw 325i with 45K

Have you checked your brake system for leaks? You may have air in the system that can cause the ABS light to come on. I had a similar problem with my last truck. ABS light came on and found a hole rusted through one of my rear brake lines.

Sounds like a ground problem to me. Bulbs are not getting there ground to complete the circuit so they backfed through the other bulbs.

This is most likely one of three things.
1. Your emergency break is not fully disengaged ... Pull the break lever all the way up and release it a few times ... sometimes things just get a little stuck. If your car seems to be fighting against moving, it could be that the breaks themselves are actually stuck ... and you should bring it to a mechanic to have your breaks checked SOON -- before the heat from over-worked breaks causes your rotors to warp, or overheats your breaking system and costs you a lot to fix.
2. You could have a bad emergency-break sensor -- so your car thinks the e-break is on when it is not. If you replace the sensor, you should be fine.
3. I don't think that Hondas actually come with a sensor to tell you if the break lights themselves are out of order (at least in a car from 1987) but I might be wrong. Have someone step on the breaks for you and make sure all of your lights work. This is not likely to be the problem, but it is worth a look before you spend money to fix something that is not broken. (If you live alone, you can also use a large rock or brick to hold the pedal down so you can check the lights ... just make sure the car is off so the rock doesn't slip to the gas pedal and put you or your engine at risk.

All of these lights can indicate different problems. The battery light normally indicates the battery is NOT being charged. This could be a bad alternator, bad battery or wire connections between the two. Look at the battery connections first. The may be corroded, if so clean them and coat them with grease. Always disconnect the MINUS connection first. The break light indicates something wrong with the breaking system. Could be as simple as low break fluid, especially if the light comes on when you stop or in a turn. Beyond that there could be numerous more complicated and serious problems that should be looked at by a competent mechanic. The same with the service engine light. The engine needs to have the systems checked to see what is causing the light to be on. This light likely indicates the cause of the poor performance and the lack of power. That is also the likely cause of the engine trouble when you the try to run the AC or heat. No way to know the cost without knowing the exact problem(s). Take the car to a mechanic you trust and have all these systems checked. There are good reasons for these lights to be on your dash and they should not be ignored. Good luck.

Hello.
There are several things that can cause that, here's what you may want to check, or have checked by a mechanic that you trust.
1. Make sure the brake fluid isn't low.
2. In some cases it can be caused by worn brake pads.
3. Have your mechanic check the wheel speed sensor, ( sometimes they just come lose ).
4. Command module/control module may need to be replaced.

yes it's most likely a alternator problem,usually the internal diode bridge breaks causing all lights you mentioned to come on,if this happens at a idle open the hood and remove green connector on alt.if lights go out you've found the problem

That light indicates that the "catalytic convertor" has over heated!!!!, however at a guess i rekon the wire or wires have come off the sensor causing the light to come on.

Hello! May I suggest possibly a bad earth? can you try standing at the rear of the vehicle with ignition on ask your wife to apply the brakes, do any other lights glimmer? failing this with brakes still applied pop into reverse and see if any lights glimmer or come on? try again with left or right indicator's flashing and brakes applied, is there an irratic signal or are the reverse lights blinking too?
If any of the above take the bulb holders out of the rear lenses look for corrosion, bad contacts, broken filiaments and security. Clean and replace then see what happens.

I suspect the ignition switch is malfunctioning.

My Toyota Prius hybrid warning light has come on three times in eight years. If I turn the car off for 20 minutes, the hybrid light is off but the check engine light is on. After a while, the check engine light goes off. I think this problem is related to moisture somehow entering the hybrid vent on the driver's side.
