Could a bad 02 sensor affect shifting in my 1996 chrysler town & country? When I started having problems I put a scanner on it, and the only code it put out was for a oxygen sensor. Could the 02 sensor affect the electronic shift?
Yes, the car will probably shift harder (if it has an automatic transmission) and it won't shift correctly when you try to accelerate at speeds over 30 MPH (it will downshift too many gears).
