Flashing coil light and esp light stays on when i

Flashing coil light and esp light stays on when i start my car.Does not happen until i touch the gas.Idles and starts ok and was ok until this morning.
Up to now car has been great and the car still starts first time and idles as it should.As soon as i apply the gas the 2 lights come on and will not let me rev at all.One is the esp which stays on and the other is the coil light which flashes.
