Can't remove ignition key. I can start it, drive it, park it (and make sure the shift lever is in park), turn the car off, but the Key will not go past the ACC position when I turn it counter clockwise.
either you have a problem with the cable that connects the gear lever to the ignition or the steering lock has broke inside. But i seem to think that its more likely to be the cable

I disconnected the battery to prevent possible electrical problems, and when I reconnected it, I started the car, turned it off, and removed the key.

try jiggling the wheel while pulling on the key sounds as if an obstruction is preventing it from releasing the lock mechanism or it may very well be in need of a new ignition switch ..

Do i need to take off the front lens, because when i tried to take the old bulb out a part fell inside the lens. And the lens looks like it's sealed.
