it's not required to have the key in the ignition for either the dome lights or headlights to be on unless of course you mean the daytime running lights. be that as it may, locate the head light relay in the engine compartment fuse panel near the battery and replace it. this should resolve the issue. the dome light could be an issue with another relay this time located in the interior fuse panel

they may possibly be on the same circuit so replacing the relay in the engine compartment may fix the dome light issue

i can tell you the fault but i cant tell you where the component is situated that you need to change ,the problem is the relay that holds the lights on when you park in the garage to give you time to find your keys or open the internal door. Now somewhere is a relay in the box where the rest of them are .to find it re-connect the battery and pull the relays out one at a time till the lights go off then you know what one to buy. They have a built in timer, when the car is used the relays stays open ,but when the power is shut off the contacts close leaving the lights on till the timer shuts them off .Sorry i cant help with where the offending relay is but we dont have this car here in spain so i have never worked on one

- as i stated i have never seen one of these cars but if you changed the relay concerned then ,if iam correct the relay clicke straight on and you can feel it click when you push it in.If so then the relay is being controlled by another component which would be the timer ??? where this is ?? i cant help because of no product knowledge but it is either a seperate unit or it could be incorperated within the ECU,to find it you would need a wiring diagram .Or use a tester to find the 12v feed for the lights and a 12v feed to operate the relay, when you find the 12v feed thats operating the relay cut the wire and then run a seperate wire from the light switch to the relay so by-passing the timer circuit.Look at the relay for the connection numbers or take the toip off the old one so you can work out whats straight connection and the feed for the operating solonoid.best of british with it
