my explorer makes a clicking/crunching sound in the front pass. side when i turn my wheel to the right.

my explorer does the same thing... except is like a pop pop crank crank sound when i turn right and maybe left... is that the same thing and how can i fix it

possibly both front outer CV joints need replacing on drive shafts
usually clicking when turning right, mainly on take off means right CV outer end of drive shaft is shot.
have wheel bearings been inspected for wear?
jack up wheel
grab top and bottom of wheel and flex(shimmy) back and forth to feel if loose.
