I try not to use radiator stop leak to fix any leak, the stop leak will tend plug up the cooling journals and jackets through out the engine, radiator and heater core. If you are going to use any stop leak just to help you get to a repair shop, use just plain black kitchen pepper. The black pepper will plug up the hole where the leak is coming from and when it's time to repair the cooling system, the pepper will clean right out with just a simple coolant flush. Locate the leak and have it repaired, if it's the water pump leaking through the weep hole. Your going to have to have the water pump replaced, and if it's the heater core that is leaking. That's going to have to be repaired, and at worst, if the intake manifold gasket is leaking antifreeze in to the engine. That's bad and need to be repaired as soon as you can, the Antifreeze is corrosive to the engine's bearing and it's know to have the engine's bearing to go bad in 3000 miles of antifreeze mixed in with the engine oil. Good luck and hope it's just a small leak through a hose clamp or the radiator.

i have a 2000 chevy suburban that died out because it ran out of gas. i put half a tank of gas in it and tried to start it back up but no luck. the fuel gauge doesnt even register that is has any gas in it. do i need to fill my tank up just to get it started again or is that a sign my fuel pumps gone?
