I have a 2000 Chevy Silverado 4.8 v8 engine and I'm trying to locate the EGR valve. Thanks

The EGR valve is on the passenger side of the engine if you are looking at the front of the motor. There is a hose that goes into the intake behind the throttle body and another hose that goes into the exhaust manifold. It is the unit that has an electrical connector going into it.
