If you are saying that you need a copy, there are a couple ways to do it. You can have one made at you local hardware store and take your chances on whether or not it will work well, or you can look at the key for the number on it, and order that key from your local Honda service center. The latter solution will cost more, but the key will work well.
Hope this helps you.

- Sorry, I wasn't thinking. You have a 2001 Accord. The following is the case:
You should have received a key number plate with your keys. You will need this key number if you ever have to get a lost key eplaced. Keep the plate stored in a safe place. If you need to replace a key, use only Honda-approved key blanks. These keys contain electronic circuits that are activated by the Immobilizer System. They will not work to start the engine if the circuits are damaged.
So, you will have to get additional keys from Honda. You should have gotten 2 Master keys (black) and 1 valet key (grey) in addition to the Key Number Plate when you got the car.
So, I hope this helps more than my previous solution.

Hi, I have 2001 Honda Accord EX. I have an intermittent starting problem. Means I face this problem only sometimes (not always) especially early morning & late night. When I switch on the ignition, all my warning lights & headlights switch on, but the engine wont start. No sound at all. After attempting multiple times, it starts. At other times, it starts on the first go itself. I have already checked my battery & starter at Auto Zone. Everything looks good. Pls help.

Faceplate of stereo system lights up, appears to work, but no sound from speakers? I can hear the cd's reading, and the radio locks into stereo for stations, but no sound at all comes from the speakers. Not even the slightest little buzz. I doubt there are any in/outputs or speakers blown (If a speaker were it should be crackling at least) the system has never been pushed or even turned up past I'd say, 30 percent... This is leading me to think it's a loose connection in the stereo somewhere, but I don't know how to get behind it, or if it isn't something else.. Any ideas?
