one of the bolt from the cam gear got cut in half, so one of the cam got pushed out of its place,one of the piece is in the camshaft, thats not the prblem, wat the problem is that i want to know how to put the cam back in place rite so it will add up with the other one and not mess it up when you try to turn it over.

your gonna have to degree your cam after fixing the curent problem . keep that in the front of your mind .what motor is in question ? single or duall can ? internal or overhead cam?

You probably can't. They are "Sweat fitted" when they are made. The cam is heated and put into it's EXACT position, onto a cold shaft. When the cam cools, it is locked into place. If you try to move it by heating it, you will be heating the shaft too. You will also be changing the hardness of the metal. Bad news is--you need to buy another cam shaft.
