Water in transmission is a bad radiator and it needs to be replaced or you can by pass the radiator and buy a transmission cooler instead of running the transmission fluid through the radiator. The transmission cooler is built in to the radiator on the passenger side, the high line is on the top and the return will be on the bottom. Good luck and hope this helps.

Can I install 95 mustang trans in 302 carburater motor

I would not use any one that has a transmission control module unless yours already has one. They do make TCMs aftermarket but you have to wire everything in and make sure its compatable for your application.

How bad is it to my transmission if I change the fluid if it has not been done in over 80,000 miles?

The fluid is not your problem.. you can change it without creating any problems.. at the same time change your trans oil filter.. when you take the pan off the amount of metal in it will give you an indication of the condition of your trans. Some metal is common.. lots of metal tells you a problem is comning. A certain amount is common because the trans clutches (the black stuff) and metals (silver stuff) wear as they are used. I think your truck.. C6 trans has a Modulator on it.. check that and check the vac line going to it.. Check to see if it has a pressure controll coming from the throttle valve.. C6 is one of the best trans ever produced.. (in my opinion)

Have c6 trans locks good in 1st and 2nd wont shift into 3rd

Tighten the band adjustment to 18 inch pounds it is a stud with a locking nut on the side of the transmission it is the one located toward the rear of the transmission not the one towards the front that is the 1st/reverse band adjust replace the modulator if problem persists sometimes they stick

Will a ford c6 tranny bolt on to a 1995 ford 5.0l or 5.8l motor?

From 1990-1996 The C6 was replaced by the E4OD which was modified to include a fourth forward speed and electronic shift controls, replacing the hydraulic control mechanism of the C6.

The C6 works fine in your bronco.. Your friend will need a different transfer case!. i dont have the manual but this is my best guess. FOrd likes to make cars that have interchangeable parts. Like a 1999focus can interchange with 2007. as long as the liter and engine size are the same. In some cases. you will have to use different transfercase.

So you might be better off with a c6 transfer case or c4 for your friend.

Hope this helps
