Suspected

Suspected "neutral switch" malfunction. Turn the key to start, nothing happens. Wiggle the gear shift lever or put it into the neutral position and the car starts normally. Battery in good condition. Is there such a thing as a "neutral switch" on this vehicle and if so where is it located? Thanks
Phil

Yes there is a part called a "Nuetral safety switch" and here is the part number, I am assuming you have a 3.8 liter V6.
