Sounds like your serpentine belt. I would check the condition of your belt on the engine. It is possible that you could also have power steering pump issues. Check belt condition first, Second if the belt is not glazed and looks ok remove the belt and check movement on power steering pump pulley to see what what type of resistence is presen while turning pulley. If so, pump should be replaced. This could be causing belt to slip and make the squeeling that you are hearing. If no resistence on pump replace belt and varify repair. Good luck.....

A while back I noticed the sunroof would open slightly (the back of it would raise slightly and stop) when I turned the key on. At that time, when I operated the switch to close, nothing would happen but after about a minute I could work the switch again and then it would close. At that time I pulled the fuse and didnt worry about it. When I had to get my car inspected I replaced the fuse on account of I had heard all fuses needed to be in place for the computers to communicate during the inspection process. When I turned the key on after replacing the fuse, the roof again opened slightly. I waited about a minute to close it but when I operated the switch, the roof began to open. It then opened all the way. Thinking I had a bad switch, I bought one at the dealer and replaced it but this did not cure the problem. If I could just find a way to close it again, that would be great.
