My passanger side of my car only blows out cold

My passanger side of my car only blows out cold air when i have the thing set to heat and when i put the thing to defrot the ac light comes on and doesnt heat that well what could be the problem with those to things??

there is a loose vent hose un der neath the dash start checking all the hoses see if they are all connected some where
