I've got a chain dragging or change jingling sound in the driver side front area of my car. It's an old ford station wagon and I pulled the wheel off today to have a look. Nothing looks out of place, the only thing I noticed was the bar that connects shock housing to the sway bar has bad bearings. I could twist it by hand no problem and grease was exposed. It doesn't seem to me that this is what's making the noise however because the sound doesnt really change when going around corners, or hitting bumps. Any ideas what this could be? My first thought was broken wheel bearing jingling around metal as the wheel turns, but I'm not sure.
