I have a 2001 chevrolet blazer and need to get the airpump replaced in it i have heard that i also need to get the breather vent extention kit. But i do not know where the best placetoget these two items are can you help me?

Hello jesspurvis: My name is Roger and I will help you. Their is a GM tech bulletin for this . The bulletin number is 04-06-04-015A. The bulletin gives part numbers for the extension kit you will need. The only place you can find the parts is from a GM dealer. I know of no aftermarket for the parts, Also to replace the air pump and extension kit. A lot of it is done from under the vehicle. Should you need further help please just ask. if your car starts after putting gas in throttle, means that you have no sufficient fuel feeding and one cause is the injection system not providing the need fuel, pressure regulator the second cause,or the fuel filter is blogged.

Drivers door pin and bushings need replaced again.I am looking for after market repair kit not the Dorman kit that was rpreviously installed .

Chevy blazers are ******* bushings. You can get bushings at any autoparts store. The key to keepinng them in good shape is lubrication.

check the engine breather pipes. if one of these is split this will cause a headache inducing smell while driving

What should the air intake breather look like on a 1996 chevy blazer

Hi there:

An air breather replaces the intake vent hose on your crankcase, which vents the spent gases inside your head out into the atmosphere instead of back into your intake track. I have a 2001 Chevy blazer 4x4 and noticed there is a black tube coming from the coolant and was hanging near the bottom of my engine not connected to anything, is this normal?

This tube is the overflow bottles overflow/breather tube.

Sounds like your getting a pressure problem in your tank. Try and find the tank breather pipe and see if it isn't clogged up. If it is then you need to remove the blockage. If the tank can't vent the gasses build up and bulge the tank.

the rear is a solid axle so there is no adjustment and no way to install a camber kit.

2001 blazer air pump

Hi Gabriel_curr,

There are two air injectors on your blazer.
The air pump is located under the front bumper on the right hand side. It's about the size of a soft ball. If replaced, remember to get the breather vent extension kit. If you don't replace this, the pump will go out again due to water getting in the pump.
