i bought a set of pilot driving liught from autozone. I wired them up to the factory harness on my camaro. I keep melting the fuse in the dash. I tried a bigger fuse and it still melts. Is there anyway to fix this problem without running all new wires to the lamps and installing a different switch? The camaro is a 1997 3.8

The pilot lights have a lot of electrical draw. They should have a red wire that runs the relay for them. That wire has to go directly to the battery not the fuse box or factory wiring. Hope this helps
