Problem for Lexus 1995 LS 400

Engine light suddenly on during inspection!!

the "check engine" light came on while being certified by the smog check shop. Could it be casued by the shop & could it just be a fuse? Everything was perfect during the exam but in the last 2 minutes this came up!

it is not a fuse it is not caused by the shop, u have a fault in the electronic engine or emission controls, that is the only thing that turns on the check engine light.
