- ive replace the fuse the truck will run i drive down the road the truck will blow the fuse and then die

one of the glow plugs has melted on the end causing the short,put 4 new ones in and i am positive it will cure your problem. Or remove the cable bar and test with a meter each one in turn,but with winter coming up and for what they cost just renew them all.Also make sure your antifreeze strength is up to scratch,
