- Hello again Brian,
There are quite a few liquids that a vehicle needs to operate, aren't there?
Here's a cheat sheet of what goes where, You'll find Very Helpful:
- Power Steering Pump - Power Steering Fluid - Generic
- Brakes - Brake Fluid - Generic
- Engine - Oil - specific to engine
- Automatic Transmission - ATF - Some have special needs, stamped on dipstick
If I may ask, are you just doing routine maintenance? Is there a problem?
Tip: You mentioned ATF, so....
If you are checking fluid levels in an automatic transmission, the vehicle should be on a level surface, the engine needs to be running with the transmission in Park or Neutral.
Also, be absolutely sure about where you are pouring what. If there is the slightest doubt, don't. I'm trying to save you some headaches here.
LMH? Not sure what that is in reference to.
If you have more questions, I should be on for another hour or so.
And now a request from me, How about an upgrade on that rating?
Best regards,
Mike
