2001 E 350 died and won't restart.

2001 E 350 died and won't restart.
It cranks but won't turn over.Check
engine light has been coming on. Went to
Auto zone who downloaded the codes and
sold me an O2 sensor and another one.
However in my limited knowledge I don't think
that would keep the engine from starting.
