Oil pressure low is on,and it say stop engine can I drive it if I put oil in it

If the oil PRESSURE is low, AND you have plenty of oil in the engine, DO NOT drive it.

If the oil level is low, add oil to the "full" mark on the dipstick. Start the engine, and see if the light goes off. If the light goes off, you can drive it.

Undhow many litres of oil nissan patrol 3.0d need for oil Change

Try 4 quarts and start the engine to fill the filter. Shut engine off, wait 15 minutes for the oil to go back to the pan, then check the oil dipstick. If it's low, put in another quart.

0il light comes on when car is in idle..2005 nissan altima

If the oil level is low, or the oil pump is worn out, this can happen. It indicates a dropping of oil pressure either due to oil moving forward away from the sump (low oil), or reduction of pressure due to lower rpms (worn out pump).

Oil pressure

Remove the oil sender unit and fit a pressure gauge , start the engine and check pressure, seems odd the oil light and pressure gauge both showed a fault at the same time, perhaps the oil pump relief valve stuck open for a short time.

High oil pressure reading on a 2005 nissan aramada

You may have a defective oil pressure sending unit on the engine or the oil pump relief spring may be sticking. Have the oil pressure tested with a special tool that goes in the oil port the sender is screwed into to determine the cause of the high pressure.;

Oil light flashes on and off

Your description sounds serious. The next step is to check the oil level, then check the oil pressure with an external gauge. If the pressure is low, the news is not good and you need to disassemble the engine until you find the issue. The clanking does description does not sound good.

Oil light comes on and theres plenty of oil in it

most probably Faulty switch. Earth out the wire that goes to the switch, Keey on, does light go out? or
No oil pressure ie no pumping or huge leak. (un likely)

Oil pressure light on - plenty of oil i n engine

it sounds like the bad oil pump to me, before you replace the oil pump one more thing you need to check. If your car is a automatic transmission

1. check the oil pressure switch
2. change the transmission fluid and fiter,
hope this can help.

Oil instument cluster light

of course start with basics, does it have plenty of oil and what condition is it? is the engine noisey?(ticking/knocking?) if oil is full and clean and no engine noises, maybe try new pressure sending unit. verifying oil pressure with a guage at sending unit port would not be a bad idea.
