my heat isn't getting hot in my 89 C1500 but everything else about the heater works, the previouse owner had taken out the stock radio and i noticed that the wires for the heater were messed with and i'm afraid they are on the wrong way, or something.

Have you checked to make sure the cooling system thermostat is still installed? Maybe the previous owner took it out too. That would keep heater from heating.

NEED TO CORRECT THE WIRES,THEN CHANGE THE THEMOSTAT ,ON CHECK ANTIFREEZE
