Where is the throttle position sensor located on a 2004 Mercury Mountaineer (4.6L)?

Remove your air intake hose at throttle body opening. Look at plate across front of the opening, the shaft in the center that it is attached to, will have your TP sensor on the end of it, at the outside of the housing. This may help. (picture)
