What kind of map sensor do i have on my 2004 chevy tahoe with the 5.3l engine. Is it frequency or voltage regulated

It is not regulated at all. It is supplied voltage and ground and returns a signal based on manifold pressure (at key on engine not running also provides Barometric pressure rationality).
