First check the battery terminals are clean and firmly attached- if terminals are ok the battery may be either discharged or faulty.
Get the engine started by jumping from another battery- then check battery running terminal voltage is approx 14.5 volts with load such as headlights or heater fan on.
If voltage ok and battery still doesn't hold charge, the battery is probably faulty - replacement required.

My BMW x5 starts when it wants to, sometimes it starts right up, most times it turns over with a clicking noise or nothing, all the lights are working, radio also. Is a battery problem.

Yes it is more than likely your battery is going bad. If you replace your battery and it still has the same issue then you need a new alternator. In your case though it sounds like a bad battery.

I have 2002 BMW x5. The battery light came on, then the brake light, ABS and warning lights all came on at the same time. Car started to stall once I got to 30 mph. Parked the car and restarted...all...

Replace the battery. (And possibly the Alternator). Reset any codes and try again. A week battery will cause al kinds of havoc and will result in just what you describe. BMW's are very sensitive to correct voltage.

BMW X5 2001... Will not start/turnover when the key is in the ignition and turned lights on cluster etc work/come on but engine will not turnover and when trying to turnover lights start blinking ie...

This sounds like the battery may be weak or a bad connection. I would start by have the battery checked or try jump starting the car, try jumpimg it and see if that will make it start, if it starts then you may have a charging or battery problem, seeeing that this car is over 10yrs old and if the battery is the same one that came with the car then i would have to think you may have a bad battery. good day

theres an anti-theft system. take positive terminal off battery, have someone holding the key on like trying to start it, then put the terminal back on and that should start it right up (had same problem in my dodge ram) if not, check all you're connections

Just had the battery replaced. The 2001 BMW X5 brake and abs lights are on. Is this a Battery problem, fuse or what?

This sounds like a low-brake-fluid-pressure symptom. Check brake fluid. Next check for leaks.

More info?, let me know...
