Loud popping sound when turning left

I have a 1999 Chevy Tacker. When I do a sharp left turn with 4x4 on, it makes a loud popping, snap sound. I though it was CV joints so I changed both sides but it's still makes the same sound. Do you any clue what can cause this??? It's sounds like a CV joint severly warn out but I changed but???
