Problem for Ford 2002 F150 Regular Cab

2002 F150 truck won't start

after running the truck it won't start, fly wheel turns but truck won't turn over, after letting it sit for awhile it will start, truck has a new battery and had a complete tune up and has a new fuel filter, same type of gas has been used for the past 4 years, this problem started a few months ago

is it an auot box? if so have you diped the atf fluid latley? if its very low that could do it? if its a stick shift it could be the starter or the ring gear slipping on the fly wheel worst thing i can think of is broken drive plate on an auot box or even a broken crank shaft?
