If you pull back the carpet in the trunk directley behind the lens, you should find the mounting screws. Some models only need to have a few plastic wing nuts removed without pulling back the carpet.

Remove tail light

2014 Newest Automatic V8 X6 Key Cutting Machine
Purchase a replacement tail light for your vehicle. You can find a broad selection by visiting the website listed in Resources or by going to your local automotive parts store.
Locate the tail light. You can find it on the rear of your car, located on the left and right sides. The lens color will vary depending on the type of vehicle that you have, but in most cases it will be red and will have red lights that light up when you press the breaks.
Remove the screws that are located on the corners of the plastic lens and lift off the lens. You will now see the bulb.
Place the new tail light in the place where you removed the old tail light. Make sure that you are putting the new tail light on right-side up. The screws will not line up and the tail light will not fit properly if it is upside down.
Replace each one of the screws.

Simple.. open the hatch. You'll see 2 screws on the inside of the lens, remove them. Now pull the lens assembly out slowly. No need to remove the wire connector. You'll see 3 caps, simply twist the one containing the bulb you need to replace. Reverse order for re-installation.

Replace Right Quarter Panel Tail Light Lens.

Look in the trunk, Pull back the carpet where the light would be. The carpet may be held in place by 2-3 big wing nuts. Once you remove these and pull the carpet back, you will see where your tail light assembly is bolted. The whole assembly will come out, take out the bulbs/harness. Then re-install your new assembly. It really takes about 3-5 min to do and no special tools.
