I am having the same problem and I hate to tell you it will never end. The light blinking along with the ac compressor cycling is the control unit. (I think it should be a recall item but, it isn't) You will need to find a company who has a 1year warranty on their parts because it will keep happening as long as you own the car. Mine does it every couple of months. Believe it or not, the turn signal has nothing to do with it. That is another problem on its own. I have found that when that happens hit your hazard button a couple of times and the turn signal will work again for a while. That problem is that the hazard switch needs to be replaced. My car is in the Shop right now over those same two problems. Good luck! This car isn't cheap.
