might have a wire shorting. did/do you have a trailer light hookup on it? a lot of times the connections dont get sealed properly and will short out especially when wet
Check fuses if you haven't already. They are not all on the same fuse. There may also be an inline fuse. Check your bulbs. Both break lights are on the same circuit. It's possible both blew together.
first check brake oil level, if the level is low it mean that break pads worn out or there is leakage from hoses, if not it may be the swich from hand break lose or not properly connected.
