There is a blower motor resistor that controls the speeds of the blower. It is by the blower motor and will have a group of wires. It usually has 2 small screws holding it on.

Most often caused by a bad fan relay. This is a complicated system. Read the post below and download the GM wiring diagrams. Then check the fuses and relays. All 3 relays must be in perfect working order for the system to work properly.

I own a 2002 crown vic my radio works but the clock on it stopped working also the heater / ac fan will not come on no matter what i try the motor wont speed up i have checked all fuses but have not dug...

if the fan runs on only one speed, its the blower motor relay.

the clock shouldn't be on the same circuit as the fan, I dunno on that one, but there is a relay for the fan.

Where is the ac/heater fan fuse for 97 nissan pathfinder

the cooling fans on autos require a motor, a power wire , a fuse ..........and

relays. ( look under your hood for a black box with some 1 inch by 1 inch black square relays ) under the cover it will tell you what relay is for the fan.
u can take another relay out of the same relay box and test the fan circuit ( as long as the pins look the same and the relay looks the same
) and plug it in and see if that fixes the problem........if it does, go buy a new relay ( remember to put them back where you got them from)

its either a blown fuse, a bad relay, or the motor finally gave up. try the fuses and relays first
