Iam replacing both drive axels on my 86 subaru gl, the old axels had a flange on the end that goes to the transmission but the new ones dont. do i need those? if yes where can i find out what there called?
You may have gotten the wrong parts to replace your axles. Take them back to the store and have them check. If you already have your old axles out, you could take them with you to compare to the new axles to make sure they are the same.

My 1993 Subaru Legacy has trouble starting. it takes several attempts and when it starts it runs very rough and will stall. After a couple starts it will stay running but may stall out. It also blows off the oil filler cap ocassionally.

The tip of the key on my Subaru Legacy 93 is stuck in the drivers side lock/ keyhole. I need to remove the whole lock mechanism so I can retrieve the tip of the key. I'm not sure how to take the door apart to get to it.
