Problem for Lexus 2004 RX 330

My 2004 RX330 Navigation GPS DVD does not load

My 2004 Lexus RX330 Navigation GPS DVD does not load update disc.It worked fine before I tried to upload the new DVD and then it just keeps displaying "loading/Do not turn off". This vehicle is a Canadian built unit.
I'm told that this unit is not repairable as Denso will not supply parts outside of Lexus and the replacement unit is horrendously expensive!Any suggestions?

- Hello, The DVD is a factory original,not a copy. I tried installing the original back and it will NOT recognize it and says to install correct disc. I reinstalled the factory update disc again and the screen says Loading,loading,Do not turn off. The original disc was part number #86271-33032 Ver.03.1 and the update disc is #86271-33037,Ver .08.1 Both are for North America. Thanks for your help!

Can you try reinstalling the original disc and post back results. Also clarify which new version number you have and did you get it from Lexus or not, I will check with a tech I know.

is the disc an originsal or a burnt copy,cause they arent always any good,does the sat nav work when you put the old disc back in??

are you sure you have the correct disc for that vehicle? the discs are vehicle specific.

another thought is try disconnecting the battery for and hour or 2 and see if that resets it,your last resort may be (hate to say it ) dealer to look at it
