Without sticking my ugly head under the wheel ?? its difficult to give you an instant answer ,but from what you describe it sounds like the disks are worn and the pads have worn right down causing onje of the pads to drop out.So you have a piston popped out which is why when you start the engine the servo is pushing the fluid out but on normal pumping its holding.Renew brake disks and new pads ,also a seal kit for the pistons because if iam correct then you have damaged the seal as well. Also while your doing it because of the age of the vehicle?1994? then i would also renew the front flexible brake hoses ,because then crack/perish and collapse inside the pipes which causes the brakes to hold on.

My 2000 Grand Prix the brake pedal just went to the floor. What is wrong :(

It could be that your brake fluid reservoir is empty. You might also have a crack in the line.

Brakes went out

Have you checked the master cylinder for leaks and around the brake booster? You may have a bad brake light switch.

While driving my 1994 Honda Accord the brakes went out. I can only get the car to stop if I press the brake pedal all the way down to the floor. When the car is shut off and I pump the brake pedal, I can...

There may be air in the lines. Bleed all your brakes starting at the farthest wheel from the resevoir, and finishing at the closest one. Try the pedal after its bled. If the pedal still feels soft or travels to the floor there may be a pinhole leak that may be spraying on the underbody of the car, or the seals in the master cylinder are gone filling the vacuum booster(if equipped). Air compresses more than oil so if bleeding works that may be the problem.

it sounds like you've got an issue with the engine vacume line going to the booster. there's an in line one way check valve that keeps vacume in the booster in case of a loss of vacume, like if your truck stalled while driving. but there should always be vacume with the engine running. so check the vacume line going to the brake booster for kinks obstructions, and leaks.
