Did you check for power at the main switch either before or after changing ?
This is the Light Blue w/ Black stripe wire on the switch connector, pin # 8. You need to have the truck in the run / accessory key position for power to get to here.
If you do not have power, 2 places to look.
1. The rubber boot that the wires run between the door and the a-pillar. This could be a broken wire in there, seen it 2 other times.
2. Problem with the accessory delay relay. You can check the socket of the relay for power on pin # 30. If need be, you can jumper the normally open contacts out, and see if this cures the problem ( bad relay )

Why does nothing happen when I press three specific buttons on my Ford stereo? I have an 02 F-150 with the stock compact disk stereo. All buttons work except for the (treb./sel v/ and fade) buttons. Is this just warn out buttons or is something sticking? And can I just fix it myself?
