More or less, yes; measure for resistance across the two leads coming off of the sending unit. If it changes as you slide the float up and down, it is probably good. However, you should get yourself a Haynes manual to reference the exact resistance in ohms you should be getting.

When the car idles or you move at a constant speed, the car shakes. When you accelerate it seems to go away. Changed the plugs and petrol filter, even cleaned all the plugs. The problem is still the same. Can anybody give me some advice please.

When starting in the morning after less then two minutes the idling rpm is getting too low less then 700 rpm
After a few minutes when the motor temp. is higher the idle rpm is 800 and it seems that the motor is not running smoothly
From time to time the rpm is around 850 rpm and in that point the motor run o.k.

driveing down road head lights shut off abs lite and another servise light came on now tranny shifts way late and also shits from high gear to a lower gear under very little stress such as up small hill top speed 55 if lucky also tac stoped working at same time as head lights someone told me there is a sencer or some kind of silinoide on the tranny that might make that happen would this be true help
