Problem for Nissan 1992 240SX Fastback
No spark

I have a 1991 nissan 240sx hb with a ka24de engine. just replaced the head gasket and when wired up and tried to fire the coil didnt spark. I tested the cables and the coil, and everything is in spec. Why is there no spark?
