Fuel level in float bowl is controlled by the float 'needle' being 'seated' in the seat in the inlet port.Check float level.A rule of thumb is needle should seat when top of float is parallel with gasket surface.Check that float hasn't 'sunk' i.e. filled with gas.If an electric fuel pump has been fitted,it's possible pump pressure is over-powering float action.

I have a 1985 Dodge 150 ram pickup with automatic transmission when driving down the road in 3 gear it acts like its trying to down shift or even like its trying to lock up

First make sure you dont have an engine problem, such as a blocked exhaust or fuel filter, if engine performance is good ck your fluid condition fluid should be red, if real dark or burnt, that would indicate an internal transmission problem requiring it to be removed an rebuilt

When shifting into drive car not moving. pls. help

If the Fluid Level is good then there is only bad news left. You could try doing a filter fluid change but I doubt that will work. There are several solenoids inside the transmission. If any one of them goes out the Transmission will not work. If the fluid level is good you will need to have the transmission checked by a specialist and possibly rebuilt. Sorry for the bad news.

2003 dodge neon transmission issues

Well no metal shavings should be in the filter if there is there is,something is not right internally in your transmission. When there is larger metal shavings in your tranny filter your tranny is probabley gonna have to be rebuilt or replaced. You can try changing the fluid and filter and see if that helps but nore than likely you will need to change out tranny with a new or rebuilt one.
