My 97 cavalier z-24 (straight drive) hesitates and tries to stall when you put it in 1st gear and give it fuel and let out on the clutch. If you feather the throttle it will straighten out and run fine. It seems as if it is trying to fluid itself. The fuel seems to be burning rich smelling. I have replaced the O2 sensor, the map sensor, the throttle positioning sensor, the catillic converter, cold cranke sensor, and plugs. None of these have corrected the problem.
