I just bought my 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe. I looked for an owners manual and you know it did not have one My question is the car and all wheel drive or is it does it have a switch somewhere that I have not found yet to make it 4 wheel drive

hi from uk to determine if your vehicle is 4w d just look under the rear of vehicle and see if there are drive shafts going to each rear wheel from a central mounted differential ? if no d/shafts then it is basic front wheel drive

The Santa Fe AWD (All Wheel Drive) is just that. There are no switches, no levers, it is in All Wheel Drive constantly. It is not really classed as a 4/wheel drive as in "all terrain", it is a road vehicle with the ability to handle various road condtions (mine travels through snow pretty darned good) but it is not an off road thing.
