1990 Dodge Dakota Cooling Fan Problem

I have a 1990 Dodge Dakota And The Cooling Fan Only works if i hook it right up to the battery is there a simple way to fix this? I was told it was a sensor, but it has been replaced twice now far as i was told by the dodge place.

look in the fuse box located near the battery for a relay for the fan. replace it.
